SISTEM KONSULT SDN BHD was established in 1979 to provide consultancy services in Mechanical and Electrical Installations of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Today the firm has built up a team of experienced engineers and supporting technical staff, and in a recent company restructure, is now a Bumiputra majority consultancy firm, with the appointment of an experienced Bumiputra Electrical Engineer in the Power Engineering field to the board.

The firm has participated in a number of prestigious projects in Sabah including the Sabah State Legislative Assembly Building, Sabah Centre Point, Wisma Merdeka, Api-Api Centre, Great Eastern Life Building, Post Office Complex and Gaya Centre at Kota Kinabalu, Wisma Khoo Siak Chiew at Sandakan, and Wisma Fuji at Tawau.

A number of large industrial projects had also been undertaken by the firm, including the Asian Foundry Centre and the Sabah Shipyard Expansion Facilities both in Labuan, Sapangar Bay Power Station for SESB, Fishmeal Factory and Boat Repairing Facilities at Sapangar Bay for SAFMA and the Water Works Extension projects at Kota Kinabalu and Tawau.

Recognising the shortage of technical expertise in power engineering in the private sector, SISTEM KONSULT SDN BHD has set up a Power Engineering Division to service the power industries and the firm has since been involved in a number of power engineering projects with the Sabah Electricity Board on transmission lines, substations, and system studies.

SISTEM KONSULT SDN BHD was involved in a few IPP projects, providing key consultancy services to IPP owners and contractors.

The management believe firmly the importance in keeping abreast with latest developments in the related engineering fields and have actively supported the organisation of seminars and lectures in Kota Kinabalu. The principals and senior staff had also participated in a number of local and international seminars and conferences.

SISTEM KONSULT SDN BHD is fully equipped with an extensive computer aided design system with the advance ICT system for office automation system in line with the government’s visions.
